The handle-type meniscus suturing system is an integrated instrument kit specifically designed for minimally invasive knee arthroscopy surgeries. Its core function is to precisely repair meniscus tears. It achieves the implantation and fixation of sutures/threads through the manipulation of the handle. Compared to traditional manual suturing, it offers advantages such as simplified operation, reliable fixation, and reduced trauma. It is currently one of the mainstream instruments used in the field of orthopedic sports medicine for repairing the meniscus.

Main operation handle: Medical-grade ABS engineering plastic + Stainless steel

Absorbable suturing pins: Poly(lactic acid)/poly(glycolic acid) copolymer, which will degrade and be absorbed within 6-12 months after implantation, eliminating the need for a second surgery.

High-strength suture thread: Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) combined with suture pins for use

Guide sleeve / positioning pin: Medical-grade stainless steel for percutaneous puncture positioning, guiding suturing nails / threads to precisely reach the injured area, avoiding deviation from the target.

Probe / Reset Clamp: Medical stainless steel tool for preoperative examination of tear extent and intraoperative repositioning of meniscus fracture ends

Depth gauge: Medical stainless steel, marking the insertion depth to prevent the suture nail from penetrating the opposite side of the meniscus or damaging the joint cartilage.

1. Minimally invasive operation: The entire process is completed through 2-3 small 0.5-1cm incisions via arthroscopy, without the need to open the knee joint, reducing damage to the surrounding synovium and ligaments, and enabling faster recovery for patients after surgery.

2. Low operation threshold: The integrated handle simplifies the "threading - knotting" steps of traditional suturing, eliminating the need for highly skilled manual knotting skills by the surgeon, thereby reducing the error rate.

3. Strong fixation stability: The reverse spike design of the suturing nails or the braided structure of the sutures can effectively grip the meniscus tissue, with an anti-tension strength superior to traditional silk threads, reducing the risk of re-tear after surgery.

4. Good biocompatibility: The suturing nails use absorbable materials, gradually degrading into CO₂ and water after surgery, without metal foreign bodies remaining, avoiding long-term foreign body reactions.

5. Diverse specifications: The length (6-12mm) and diameter (1.5-2.5mm) of the suturing nails can be selected, suitable for different thickness requirements of the medial (thicker) and lateral (thinner) menisci.
